These terms apply to the Riftrise website (riftrise.com), the Riftrise launcher and the Riftrise game servers (together, "Riftrise"). By signing in or playing you accept these terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not accept them, do not use Riftrise.
1. Who we are
Riftrise is a free, non-commercial community project run by a private individual in Italy ("we", "us"). Contact: [email protected].
Riftrise is not affiliated with, endorsed, sponsored or approved by Epic Games, Inc. Fortnite is a trademark of Epic Games, Inc. Riftrise does not use, and never asks for, your Epic Games account.
2. Who can use Riftrise
You must be at least 14 years old, and at least the minimum age required to use Discord in your country.
If you are under 18, you need the permission of a parent or guardian, who should read these terms with you.
You need a Discord account. Riftrise accounts are created and used only through "Sign in with Discord".
One Riftrise account per person. Do not share your account or let others play on it.
3. Free to use
Riftrise is free to use. Cosmetics and other in-game items have no monetary value and belong to nobody. Trading Riftrise accounts or items for money or for anything else of value is forbidden.
4. The game files
The Riftrise launcher downloads and runs a copy of an older Fortnite game client (build 32.11) together with Riftrise's own components. The game files and all related content are the property of Epic Games, Inc. and its licensors. Riftrise does not own them and does not grant you any licence or right to them.
If Epic Games or another rights holder asks us to stop distributing any content, we will do so promptly, and the related features may stop working without notice.
The launcher is not signed with a commercial certificate, so Windows or your antivirus may show a warning. Install and run it only if you accept that.
5. Your in-game name
Your first in-game name is based on your Discord username, adapted to the name rules. If it cannot be used, you get a name such as player_1a2b3c4d.
Name rules: 3 to 16 characters; only letters A–Z, numbers, underscore (_), dot (.) and hyphen (-); it must start with a letter or a number, contain at least one letter and must not have two symbols in a row. Names are unique without regard to upper and lower case. Some names are reserved, for example names that look like Riftrise, staff, moderators, Epic Games or Fortnite. The launcher shows the full rules.
You can change your name in the launcher. The first change is possible at any time; after each change you must wait 10 days before the next one. Changing only upper or lower case also counts as a change.
A name you leave stays reserved for 30 days: nobody else can take it in that time, but you can take it back.
You will see the new name in game the next time you start the game.
Names must not impersonate other people (including staff, streamers or Epic Games), and must not be offensive, hateful or sexual, or contain personal data or links. We may reset a name that breaks these rules; in that case the 10-day wait may not apply to the replacement.
We keep a record of previous names for 90 days to prevent abuse and impersonation.
6. Rules of conduct
You must not:
cheat, use bots, macros that play for you, aimbots, wallhacks or any tool that gives an unfair advantage, or exploit bugs on purpose (report them instead);
attack, overload, probe or try to gain unauthorised access to Riftrise servers, the launcher, the API or other players (including DDoS, packet manipulation and tampering with tokens);
modify, decompile or redistribute the Riftrise launcher, its servers or its components, or use them to build another service;
harass, threaten, dox or discriminate against anyone, or share hateful, sexual or illegal content (including in names, chat and voice);
collect or publish other players' personal data;
use Riftrise for any commercial purpose, including selling access, accounts, boosting or coaching services tied to Riftrise, or advertising;
use Riftrise to connect to, or interfere with, Epic Games' official services.
The rules of the Riftrise Discord server also apply.
7. Moderation
If an account breaks these terms or harms the community, we may warn the player, reset the in-game name or block the account's access to Riftrise, at our discretion. If you think a decision is wrong, write to [email protected] with your in-game name and we will look at it again.
8. No guarantees, the project may end
Riftrise is a hobby project offered "as is". It may have bugs, crashes, downtime, lost progress or resets.
We can change, pause or shut down Riftrise at any time, with or without notice, including at the request of a rights holder. Your progress, items and statistics have no monetary value and you have no right to compensation if they are lost.
You use the launcher and the game files at your own risk. Keep backups of anything important on your PC and make sure you have enough free disk space (about 130 GB).
9. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages, lost data or lost progress, or for problems caused by your PC, your connection, third-party services (such as Discord) or your breach of these terms. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (for example for intent or gross negligence, or for death or personal injury), or your rights as a consumer.
10. Intellectual property and notices
Fortnite and all related names, logos, characters and content are trademarks and/or copyrighted works of Epic Games, Inc. All rights reserved by Epic.
The Riftrise name, logo, website and launcher code belong to their authors.
If you hold rights in material used by Riftrise and believe it is used without permission, see the notice for rights holders below or write to [email protected]. We respond promptly.
11. Closing your account
You can stop using Riftrise at any time. To have your account deleted, write to [email protected] or send a message on the Riftrise Discord from the Discord account linked to your Riftrise account. We delete the account and its game data as described in the Privacy Policy. We may close accounts that break these terms or that have been inactive for 24 months.
12. Changes
We may update these terms. We will announce important changes in the launcher or on the Riftrise Discord at least 7 days before they apply, except changes required by law or by a rights holder, which can apply immediately. If you keep playing after the changes apply, you accept them.
13. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by Italian law. If you are a consumer, you keep the mandatory protections of the law of your country of residence and you may bring a claim in the courts of the place where you live. Before going to court, please write to us: most problems can be solved quickly.
14. Language
These terms are available in English and in Italian (riftrise.com/terms?lang=it). If the two versions differ, the Italian version prevails, without prejudice to the mandatory protections you have as a consumer.

2. Chi può usare Riftrise
Devi avere almeno 14 anni e almeno l'età minima richiesta per usare Discord nel tuo Paese.
Se hai meno di 18 anni ti serve il permesso di un genitore o tutore, che dovrebbe leggere questi termini insieme a te.
Ti serve un account Discord. Gli account Riftrise si creano e si usano solo con "Accedi con Discord".
Un solo account Riftrise per persona. Non condividere l'account e non far giocare altri al tuo posto.
3. Gratuito
Riftrise è gratuito. Cosmetici e altri oggetti di gioco non hanno valore economico e non appartengono a nessuno. È vietato scambiare account o oggetti Riftrise con denaro o con altri beni di valore.
4. I file del gioco
Il launcher Riftrise scarica ed esegue una copia di un vecchio client di Fortnite (build 32.11) insieme ai componenti di Riftrise. I file del gioco e tutti i contenuti collegati sono di proprietà di Epic Games, Inc. e dei suoi licenzianti. Riftrise non ne è proprietario e non ti concede alcuna licenza o diritto su di essi.
Se Epic Games o un altro titolare di diritti ci chiede di smettere di distribuire un contenuto, lo faremo subito, e le funzioni collegate potrebbero smettere di funzionare senza preavviso.
Il launcher non è firmato con un certificato commerciale, quindi Windows o l'antivirus potrebbero mostrare un avviso. Installalo ed eseguilo solo se lo accetti.
5. Il tuo nome in gioco
Il primo nome in gioco deriva dal tuo username Discord, adattato alle regole dei nomi. Se non si può usare, ricevi un nome come player_1a2b3c4d.
Regole dei nomi: da 3 a 16 caratteri; solo lettere A–Z, numeri, trattino basso (_), punto (.) e trattino (-); deve iniziare con una lettera o un numero, contenere almeno una lettera e non avere due simboli di fila. I nomi sono unici senza distinzione tra maiuscole e minuscole. Alcuni nomi sono riservati, per esempio quelli che sembrano Riftrise, staff, moderatori, Epic Games o Fortnite. Le regole complete sono nel launcher.
Puoi cambiare il nome dal launcher. Il primo cambio si può fare quando vuoi; dopo ogni cambio devi aspettare 10 giorni prima del successivo. Anche cambiare solo maiuscole o minuscole conta come un cambio.
Un nome che lasci resta riservato per 30 giorni: in quel periodo nessun altro può prenderlo, ma tu puoi riprenderlo.
In gioco vedrai il nuovo nome dal prossimo avvio del gioco.
I nomi non devono imitare altre persone (staff, streamer o Epic Games compresi) e non devono essere offensivi, d'odio o sessuali, né contenere dati personali o link. Possiamo reimpostare un nome che viola queste regole; in quel caso l'attesa di 10 giorni può non valere per il nome sostitutivo.
Conserviamo l'elenco dei nomi precedenti per 90 giorni per prevenire abusi e furti d'identità.
6. Regole di comportamento
È vietato:
barare, usare bot, macro che giocano al posto tuo, aimbot, wallhack o qualsiasi strumento che dia un vantaggio scorretto, oppure sfruttare di proposito i bug (segnalali invece);
attaccare, sovraccaricare, sondare o tentare di accedere senza autorizzazione ai server, al launcher, all'API di Riftrise o ad altri giocatori (compresi DDoS, manipolazione dei pacchetti e alterazione dei token);
modificare, decompilare o ridistribuire il launcher, i server o i componenti di Riftrise, o usarli per creare un altro servizio;
molestare, minacciare, diffondere dati altrui (doxing) o discriminare chiunque, o condividere contenuti d'odio, sessuali o illegali (anche nei nomi, in chat e in voce);
raccogliere o pubblicare dati personali di altri giocatori;
usare Riftrise a fini commerciali, compresa la vendita di accessi, account, boosting o servizi di coaching legati a Riftrise, o la pubblicità;
usare Riftrise per collegarsi ai servizi ufficiali di Epic Games o per interferire con essi.
Valgono anche le regole del server Discord di Riftrise.
7. Moderazione
Se un account viola questi termini o danneggia la community, possiamo, a nostra discrezione, ammonire il giocatore, reimpostare il nome in gioco o bloccare l'accesso dell'account a Riftrise. Se pensi che una decisione sia sbagliata, scrivi a [email protected] indicando il tuo nome in gioco: la riesamineremo.
8. Nessuna garanzia, il progetto può finire
Riftrise è un progetto amatoriale offerto "così com'è". Può avere bug, crash, interruzioni, perdite di progressi o azzeramenti.
Possiamo modificare, sospendere o chiudere Riftrise in qualsiasi momento, con o senza preavviso, anche su richiesta di un titolare di diritti. Progressi, oggetti e statistiche non hanno valore economico e non danno diritto ad alcun risarcimento se vanno persi.
Usi il launcher e i file del gioco a tuo rischio. Tieni una copia di ciò che è importante sul tuo PC e assicurati di avere abbastanza spazio libero (circa 130 GB).
9. Responsabilità
Nei limiti consentiti dalla legge, non rispondiamo di danni indiretti, dati o progressi persi, né di problemi causati dal tuo PC, dalla tua connessione, da servizi di terzi (come Discord) o dalla tua violazione di questi termini. Nulla in questi termini limita la responsabilità che la legge non permette di limitare (per esempio per dolo o colpa grave, o per morte o lesioni personali), né i tuoi diritti di consumatore.
10. Proprietà intellettuale e segnalazioni
Fortnite e tutti i nomi, loghi, personaggi e contenuti collegati sono marchi e/o opere protette da diritto d'autore di Epic Games, Inc. Tutti i diritti riservati a Epic.
Il nome, il logo, il sito e il codice del launcher Riftrise appartengono ai rispettivi autori.
Se sei titolare di diritti su materiale usato da Riftrise e ritieni che sia usato senza permesso, leggi l'avviso per i titolari di diritti qui sotto o scrivi a [email protected]. Rispondiamo subito.
11. Chiusura dell'account
Puoi smettere di usare Riftrise quando vuoi. Per far cancellare il tuo account scrivi a [email protected] oppure manda un messaggio sul Discord di Riftrise dall'account Discord collegato al tuo account Riftrise. Cancelliamo l'account e i suoi dati di gioco come indicato nell'Informativa privacy. Possiamo chiudere gli account che violano questi termini o inattivi da 24 mesi.
12. Modifiche
Possiamo aggiornare questi termini. Annunceremo le modifiche importanti nel launcher o sul Discord di Riftrise almeno 7 giorni prima che si applichino, salvo quelle richieste dalla legge o da un titolare di diritti, che possono valere subito. Se continui a giocare dopo l'entrata in vigore delle modifiche, le accetti.
13. Legge applicabile e controversie
Questi termini sono regolati dalla legge italiana. Se sei un consumatore, conservi le tutele inderogabili della legge del Paese in cui risiedi e puoi agire davanti al giudice del luogo in cui vivi. Prima di andare in tribunale scrivici: la maggior parte dei problemi si risolve in fretta.
14. Lingua
Questi termini sono disponibili in italiano e in inglese (riftrise.com/terms?lang=en). Se le due versioni differiscono, prevale la versione italiana, salve le tutele inderogabili che hai come consumatore.
